Oh, sweet wonderful Whit. I had the BEST time working with this little man. He has such a sweet demeanor and was so calm. It's like he has an old soul. I was so impressed with how Darrin and Mike, aka Mom and Dad, had worked to make his nursery something truly special. And when Dad works with cattle on a daily basis, it was only fitting to have a cowboy- inspired nursery!
Whit was such a perfect little model throughout his entire session. He loves getting snuggles from Mom and Dad and you can see the pride beaming from both Darrin and Mike. I really could feel their happiness. Sessions like this truly makes my heart happy.
I was able to meet with Darrin a few days before Whit's session. This is something special I do for all of my littlest clients. I like to get a sense of how their home is decorated, what spots have the best light, and what colors and sentimental items the parents want to be used. After talking with Darrin, we decided on a neutral palette with some blue accents. She also wanted to honor her first baby who passed away before birth. We decided to use a simple red heart to represent Whit's sibling. It made for very sweet and special shots that I hope somehow help lighten the weight of losing a child. I was honored to help show the love for all of the Krebs' children.
Thank you to the Krebs Family for sharing sweet Whit with me. You two are already wonderful parents and I can't wait to watch Whit grow into a sweet, wonderful person. He sure is a precious boy!
Much Love
